About Me
I am the daughter of a military serviceman that grew up in Anchorage Alaska. If that’s not cold enough for you I also attended the University of North Dakota prior to finishing my undergraduate degree program in Florida. A pre-destined opportunity to apply for the Disney College Program while attending the University of North Dakota led to a life changing move to Orlando, Florida.
While in Orlando I courageously pursued a management internship opportunity after only six months with the company, by boldly introducing myself to the management intern as her next job replacement. During my career I grew my heart for service, the hospitality industry can do that to you. I have had the opportunity to work at a variety of deluxe hotels, lead ground breaking projects to to drive cultures of service excellence, and speak on behalf of the organization as an internal speaker for Disney Youth Education Series as well as a facilitator at Disney University.
As a leader, one of my most skilled qualities was coaching and mentoring leaders within the organization. So much so I returned to graduate school to obtain my Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Executive Coaching. In 2019 I Co-Authored It’s Possible: A Dreamers Manifesto to Overcome Opposition, a collection of inspirational stories of overcoming obstacles.
After 17 years in the corporate world making dreams come true, my dream of coaching, consulting, and speaking became a reality through the launch of Empower Your Possibilities LLC.
